"Fast help when we really needed it"
Help showed up quickly during an emergency and they just got it handled without making it complicated. in that situation, you just want people to know what they’re doing and take care of it, and that’s exactly what happened.

"Surprisingly Easy Return"
I wasn’t really expecting the return process to be that smooth, but it actually went well. Sent it back without much hassle and got my refund faster than I thought I would. So yeah, credit where it’s due, it worked out fine

"Setup Was More Confusing Than It Needed to Be"
I had a problem getting my Abode system set up, so I ended up contacting support. To be fair, they did answer and the person I talked to was nice, but it took way too long to get a clear fix. I felt like I kept going in circles, asking the same thing and getting bits and pieces instead of just clear steps. It was frustrating because the setup should’ve been explained better from the start. In the end, it did work, so I can’t complain too much, but the whole process was more confusing than it needed to be.

"Does the job, just a bit slow sometimes"
Overall, it works well and does what I expected it to do. I was hoping it would be a little faster, and sometimes it does lag a bit, but nothing too frustrating. For my needs, it gets the job done.

I’ve been using Abode for a little while now, and so far the connection has stayed really steady. I haven’t had any random dropouts or delays with alerts, which was one of the main things I was worried about. It’s been one of those things that just works in the background, that’s exactly what I needed.

"Honestly, I Feel Safe Using It"
My first reaction was, okay, this actually feels secure. I like that my account seems protected, and the privacy settings are easy enough to figure out without digging around forever. I haven’t had any weird login problems so far either, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

I ordered from goabode.com i was kind of surprised by how smooth everything was. The packaging was clear, the app walked me through each step, and, oh, I should mention I’m not super handy at all, I still had the main stuff installed and working in under an hour. One sensor didn’t connect on the first try, but I tried it again and it was fine after that. Overall, I’m happy with it

My order showed up a day after the original estimate, so I guess it wasn’t exactly on time, but it still felt quick overall. The tracking updates were helpful, even if I checked them way too often. Everything arrived in good shape and nothing was missing, so I don’t really have any complaints, even though I was slightly annoyed about the extra day

"Finally, something that doesn’t constantly blame me"
I’ve had Abode for a while now, false alarms have barely been an issue. I think it only happened once, and that was because I was rushing out the door like usual, so of course it had to be on me that time. The app notifications come through quickly too. Compared to my old setup, this has been way less stressful and doesn’t feel like it’s constantly trying to make my life harder.

"Surprisingly solid battery life"
I’ve had my Abode setup running for a while now, and the battery life has been way better than I expected. I usually don’t put much stock in those polished company claims about things being “set it and forget it,” because that’s usually marketing talk. But in this case, the sensors really have just kept going without me needing to mess with them. I figured I’d be swapping batteries all the time, but so far they’ve been low-maintenance. Overall, it’s been easy to live with, and I’m happy with it.

"Pretty easy to get going"
Setting up Alexa with my Hue lights was super easy. I thought it might be one of those things where you have to mess around forever, but it just kind of worked after I connected everything. That part was a nice surprise.

"Upfront pricing made things easier"
I actually really appreciated that the pricing was shown upfront. Maybe I’m just overly cautious about these things, but I’m always expecting some surprise fee to pop up later. This made it a lot easier to decide without feeling like I was wasting my time.

"Good monitoring, but communication could be clearer"
The pro monitoring has been solid so far. When one of my sensors tripped, they called me quickly, which definitely made me feel better about having it. The app can be a little slow sometimes, but nothing too terrible. My main annoyance is that some of the communication isn’t always clear, so I’ve had moments where I wasn’t totally sure what was going on or what I needed to do next. Overall though, I still feel good using it.

"Clear Video Overall"
I was expecting the video quality to be decent, but it’s actually clear most of the time. The only downside is that it can get a little grainy at night, which I kind of expected, but it’s still noticeable sometimes.
